Change enablement without overthinking
This is the first remote-tracked lesson. Submit the drill and your result will update the study tracker.
The exam shortcut
Change enablement is about maximizing successful service and product changes. The mechanism is: assess risk, authorize changes, and manage the change schedule.
Three change types
Standard change
Low-risk, well understood, fully documented, and pre-authorized. The exam clue is “no additional authorization”.
Normal change
Any change that is not standard or emergency. It follows the appropriate authorization path for its risk and model.
Emergency change
Must be introduced as soon as possible. Still controlled, but speed matters because delay creates harm.
